Who
We Are and What We Do
ENTRIX was established in 1984 when our founders,
Dan Taylor and Richard Firth, joined forces to create a science-based
company that focused on helping clients with environmental
challenges. A foundation was built based on the philosophy
that clients and people are our most valued assets. This philosophy
continues to be reflected in our management principles today.
Our clients benefit from the wealth of knowledge and experience
of our professional staff. We take pride in employing a multidisciplinary
team of individuals, including experienced and recognized
experts. Our technical staff, which includes biologists, chemists,
geologists, oceanographers, toxicologists, meteorologists,
economists, and environmental, chemical, and civil engineers,
offers valuable skills to every client assignment.
Our beginnings can be traced back to Alaska when the company
provided its services for the North Slope’s oil and
gas fields and the state’s major hydroelectric projects.
Today, our clients represent industries
that are required to navigate highly complex regulations and
permitting procedures, often extending over several years,
as part of their core business operations. The company serves
clients in energy & power, financial & insurance,
legal, mining & industrial, manufacturing, and oil &
gas, real estate, and water industries, as well as the public
sector.
We focus on delivering practical solutions
through a full range of environmental
consulting services.
