1. What is the process for interviewing with ENTRIX?

The first step is to apply for a position online.  Every interested candidate must apply for a specific position online to be considered for that opening.  (Please note: ENTRIX does not accept general applications or resumes submitted through our “Contact HR” mailbox.)

As applications are received, our HR team reviews each resume.  Candidate profiles which meet the minimum job requirements are then forwarded to the Hiring Manager.  If you are selected for an interview, a Hiring Manager will contact you directly by email to schedule an interview.

Because of the volume of resumes ENTRIX is fortunate to receive, we do not send separate notification informing people that they have NOT been selected for an interview.  Once a position is filled, every applicant will receive an email from ENTRIX acknowledging that position has been filled and closed.

2. How can I confirm my application went through successfully and was received by HR?

You will know that the online application process is complete when you see the "Thank you" page.  Additionally, you will receive an email that acknowledges receipt of your application.  Should your application be incomplete, you would also be notified by email, so you can go back and successfully complete the online process.

3. When will my application be reviewed?

Because of the volume of resumes ENTRIX is fortunate to receive, we do not set a definitive timeframe.  In some cases, it can take weeks between steps in our recruitment process to ensure a thoughtful evaluation of all interested applicants.  This enables ENTRIX to find the strongest candidate for each position.  Should ENTRIX decide to pursue you as a candidate, please be assured that you will be contacted by a Hiring Manager.

4. How can I check on the status of my application?

To inquire about the status of your application, you can return to our web site at www.entrix.com and log into your account.  Then select "View Submitted Applications."  Following is an overview of status types:

  • Not Reviewed - Not yet reviewed by a Human Resources Recruiter
  • HR Reviewing - Application is being reviewed by a Human Resources Recruiter
  • Being Reviewed - In the process of being reviewed by the Hiring Manager
  • Incomplete Application - The application process has not been completed (Please check your email account for instructions)
  • Job Cancelled - The position will not be filled at this time
  • Candidate Withdrew – Job seeker is no longer interested in position OR did not complete the application within the requested timeframe.

Please be patient, In some cases, it can take weeks between steps in our recruitment process to ensure a thoughtful evaluation of all interested applicants.

5. How do I know if a position is still open or whether it has already been filled?

Once a position has been filled, it is removed from our list of job postings and all applicants are sent an email informing them that the position has been closed.  That means, if you see a job listing on our web site, ENTRIX is still accepting applications for it and you may apply.

6. Can I apply directly with the Hiring Manager?

No.  Every candidate must apply online to be considered.  You can search our current job listings and apply online by visiting our web site at www.entrix.com/careers.

7. I am very interested in working with ENTRIX but currently don’t see a position in my area of expertise.
    Can I still apply?

ENTRIX only evaluates applications for open positions that have been formally announced and posted on our web site.  General applications or resume submissions are not considered or kept on file with Human Resources.  That said, ENTRIX posts new positions regularly and we encourage you to keep checking our site.

8. I saw a posting for a position with ENTRIX on another job site, but the job is not listed on the ENTRIX
web site.  Why?  Has it been filled?

All positions for which we are still hiring are listed on our web site.  Periodically, ENTRIX does use other job banks to broaden our search for some strategic hires.  In rare cases, there may be a delay in an outside job site removing a link to a posting that was recently filled.   If you are ever in doubt, please visit www.entrix.com

If you missed the opportunity to apply for a position of interest to you, we encourage you to visit our web site again as we post new positions regularly.

9. I noticed that ENTRIX has similar job openings at different locations.  Do I need to apply for each position
separately—or if I apply once am I automatically considered for similar job listings across the company?

You need to submit a separate application for each job posting of interest to you.  Candidates are welcome to apply for multiple postings.

10. I have an updated resume and want to modify my recent application.  What do I need to do?

Once you have created an account with ENTRIX, you are welcome to update your profile at any time.  Your updates will be applied to all future applications.  Unfortunately, you can not go back and edit a previous application once it has been submitted.

11. How do I create a new candidate account?  I can’t find the link to create a profile.

Click on the position for which you want to apply.  If you scroll down to the bottom of the Job Details you will see a link that says, “Apply On-line.”  Clicking that takes you to a “Log In” screen where you will see a link titled, “Click here to create a new account.”

12. I am having difficulty applying online.  Is there someone I can call? Can you send me an application?

First we suggest that you try logging out and then logging back on to www.entrix.com.  We have found that often alleviates this problem.  However, if that still doesn’t work, you can send an email to our HR Department.  Go to www.entrix.com and click on Contact Us.  You will see a drop-down box for Human Resources and can let us know that you are experiencing technical difficulty.

We do not send out paper applications.  All interested candidates need to go through our central job bank on our web site.

13. If I have applied for a position at ENTRIX and didn’t get the job, will my resume be considered for
      other positions?

In order to be considered for future job postings, you must re-apply.  However, once you have set up a user profile, this will significantly speed the re-application process.

14. Some jobs have been posted for months, are they outdated or still open?

If you see a job posting on www.entrix.com the listing is still active and you are welcome to apply.

15. Is it ever possible to contact HR, particularly at a senior level and confidential inquiry?

If you are a very senior level consultant or executive candidate, you may contact Inga Kulberg, Director of Human Resources, directly regarding a confidential inquiry.  Inga can be reached by calling our Concord Office at 925.935.9920.
